2014 NCAA Tournament Bracket According to DBA Power Ratings

Using the Don Best Advantage College Basketball Power Ratings, we have forecasted the 2014 NCAA Tournament bracket using the current matchups but re-seeding according to our numbers. For example, our DBA Power Ratings have Colorado as the No. 11 seed in the South Region and Pittsburgh as the No. 7 seed despite being an 8/9 game, meaning Pitt is projected to advance. Of course we realize upsets happen and the “better team” doesn’t always win. However, our bracket is meant to reflect where the committee was right and where they went wrong, according to Vegas.

Please note: Re-seeding was done based on Power Ratings within each Region (i.e. Iowa/Tennessee winner seeded as sixth-best team in Midwest).
